Direct Beach access
Hafan y Môr has lots to do for all the family and with the sea on your doorstep there's no need to drive to the beach. With its long stretches of sandy beach, this is ideal for family strolls, kids playing and for parents to relax. Also, a short walk from the Park there is a footpath from the Pine Lodge area to other beaches too.
There are promenade walks by the beach, interesting wild flowers in the dune area and harbour porpoises and bottlenose dolphins may be seen in the bay. The beach is in a Special Area of Conservation (SAC).
Portmeirion - 12.5 miles
The Portmeirion estate includes 70 acres of sub-tropical woodlands known as the Gwyllt as well as farmland and the village itself on the southern side of its own private peninsula on the coast of Snowdonia.
Caernarfon Castle - 21.5 miles
Mighty Caernarfon is possibly the most famous of Wales's castles. Its sheer scale and commanding presence easily set it apart from the rest, and to this day, still trumpet in no uncertain terms the intention of its builder Edward I.
